Mipcom Puts FAST Channels and AIat the Center of Conference Program
Mipcom Cannes, has announced its conference program for this year. Alongside co-production sessions and a new awards show, the program will focus on FAST (Free Advertiser-Supported Television) and artificial intelligence (AI) channels.
One of the main highlights of the event is the Unlocking AI Summit, which aims to explore the opportunities and challenges that AI presents to the industry. The organizers are inviting AI experts to shed light on this rapidly growing field.
The FAST and Global Summit will feature speakers from various companies in the industry, including Little Dot Studios, Banijay Rights, and OKAST. They will participate in roundtable discussions on unlocking opportunities in the FAST space.Other sessions include Glance Research’s presentation on cracking audience trends and The Wit’s overview of fresh TV formats. Additionally, Mipcom Cannes will host the Content Innovation Awards for the first time.
More details, such as world premiere screenings, will be announced at a later date. The event will take place in Cannes from October 17 to 20.
