BBC Studios has extended its first-look distribution agreement with multi-award-winning indie Rogan Productions for a further three years.
Under the renewed deal, BBC Studios will retain first-look rights to distribute Rogan’s documentary and factual slate globally, while continuing to provide development funding.
The partnership between the two companies began in 2020 and has since resulted in sales across more than 220 territories worldwide.
Previous collaborations include Freddie: The Final Act, ABBA: Against the Odds and Putin: A Russian Spy Story. Among the upcoming projects is the three-part documentary Free Nelson Mandela, produced for Channel 4. The project has secured co-production agreements with DR (Denmark), NRK (Norway) and ZWART (Netherlands), alongside pre-sales to Yle (Finland), ARTE (France and Germany) and Movistar Plus+ (Spain).
BBC Studios emphasized that Rogan Productions continues to deliver internationally impactful and critically acclaimed factual programming, reinforcing the strength of their long-standing collaboration.
