ITV and Disney are expanding their content-sharing agreement in the UK.
Previously limited to curated content exchanges between their streaming platforms, ITVX and the platform, the partnership is now extending to linear television.
Two Hulu Originals are set to air on ITV1. The Stolen Girl, produced by Quay Street Productions and Brightstar, originally premiered on the platform and will now make its debut on ITV1. The psychological drama follows a mother whose young daughter disappears after a sleepover, unraveling a tense story of secrets and betrayal.
Later this year, The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox will also broadcast on ITV1. The drama revisits the high-profile murder case that drew global attention, exploring themes of media scrutiny, justice and public perception.
Both titles will air under the on-screen label “Disney+ Presents a Hulu Original” on ITV.
Last year, Disney+ introduced a “Taste of ITVX” rail on its platform, while ITVX launched a “Taste of Disney+” collection, offering curated selections of each other’s content.
The expanded deal highlights the growing strength of hybrid content models between global streaming platforms and local broadcasters.
