Following months of intense industry speculation, European production powerhouses Banijay Entertainment and All3Media have officially concluded their mega-merger, creating an entertainment behemoth valued at US$8 billion and establishing one of the world’s largest independent content businesses.
Under the new corporate structure, the newly formed entity will be jointly owned by Banijay Group and RedBird IMI, with each holding an equal 50% stake, while the unified global operations will be headquartered in London.
The leadership team brings together seasoned media heavyweights, with RedBird CEO Jeff Zucker stepping in as Chairman of the new giant, Banijay’s Marco Bassetti serving as CEO, and All3Media’s Jane Turton taking on the role of Deputy CEO. Financially, the scale of this merger is massive; on a combined basis, the unified business generated more than €4.3 billion (US$4.9 billion) in revenues in 2025 alone, and the consolidation is expected to yield around €50 million in cost synergies within its first year of closing.
This historic alliance also unites an unparalleled catalog of intellectual property and distribution muscle under a single roof. By combining Banijay, the powerhouse behind legendary global formats like Survivor, MasterChef, and Big Brother, with All3Media, the creative force behind recent breakout hits like The Traitors, the merger brings together two of the industry’s largest distribution arms. Consequently, Banijay Rights’ massive library of over 220,000 hours will now sit alongside All3Media International’s impressive 30,000-hour catalog, reshaping the global media landscape.
