Violent Night 2 has released its first trailer, offering a new look at David Harbour‘s return as the unconventional Santa Claus, Nick.
This time, Santa finds himself battling Mason, a ruthless crime boss portrayed by Jared Harris, who has taken control of a local shopping mall and terrorized its merchants.
With his magical abilities significantly weakened, Nick is forced to rely on Mrs. Claus, played by Kristen Bell, turning the sequel into a festive action adventure that pairs the two against a dangerous criminal gang. The trailer teases a mix of over-the-top violence, holiday humor, and explosive set pieces.

Tommy Wirkola returns to direct the sequel from a screenplay by Pat Casey and Josh Miller, reuniting the creative team behind the 2022 original. The supporting cast also includes Joe Pantoliano, Daniela Melchior, Andrew Bachelor, and Maxwell Friedman, while David Leitch serves as a producer.
The first Violent Night earned positive reviews upon its release, holding a 74% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. Violent Night 2 is set to open in UK cinemas on December 4, 2026.
