TRT 1 has released the first trailer for its upcoming family series Evlilik Güzeldir, offering a first look at the warm, lively world of one of the channel’s new-season productions.
Set in one of Istanbul’s close-knit neighborhoods, the series centers on Mesut Bahtiyar, a marriage registrar who lives with his five daughters, his mother and his brother-in-law. Played by Fikret Kuşkan, Mesut is a devoted father whose family stands at the heart of the story.
The first trailer introduces the Bahtiyar family and gives viewers an early glimpse of the different relationships and personalities that will shape the series. Blending family Dynamics with romance and humor, Evlilik Güzeldir explores marriage and relationships from different generations’ perspectives while focusing on the bonds that keep a family together.
Rather than building its story around a single romance, the series brings several relationships under the same roof. The lives and romantic experiences of Mesut’s five daughters offer different perspectives on love and marriage, while generational differences and everyday family conflicts and another layer to the story. At the same time, the neighborhood surrounding the Bahtiyar family becomes an important part of the series’ warm and colorful atmosphere.
The cast includes Fikret Kuşkan, Hande Soral, İlayda Alişan, Berk Bakioğlu, Seçkin Özdemir, Yusuf Çim, Nil Sude Albayrak, Gözde Okur, Ferit Aktuğ, Anıl Çelik, Sera Tokdemir, Hazım Körmükçü, Öznur Ön, Hande Katipoğlu and Yıldız Kültür, among many others.
Produced by Greative Film, Evlilik Güzeldir is creatively produced by Hasan Kaçan, with Zafer Yiğit and Ahmet Şevki Peker serving as producers. Şafak Bal and Serap Danış Koçak direct the series, while the screenplay is written by Baykut Badem, Hasan Tolga Pulat, Hazan Toma and Seçil Çömlekçi.
Bringing together family bonds, love, solidarity and humor, Evlilik Güzeldir will soon premiere on TRT 1.
