TRT 1’s upcoming series Evlilik Güzeldir (Marriage Is Beautiful) has unveiled its second poster ahead of its premiere. Bringing Mesut Bahtiyar and his five daughters together in the same frame, the new poster offers the first glimpse into the family bonds and heartfelt world at the center of the series.
Set to premiere on TRT 1 on Monday, September 7, Evlilik Güzeldir (Marriage Is Beautiful) will explore love, family relationships, sibling bonds and marriage through the story of a close-knit neighborhood.
Evlilik Güzeldir (Marriage Is Beautiful) centers on a father of five
At the heart of the series is Mesut Bahtiyar, a veteran marriage registrar known as a record-holder for officiating thousands of weddings over the years. While Mesut has spent his career witnessing other people’s happiness, his greatest challenge begins when it comes to his own family.
As a father of five daughters, Mesut struggles to keep up with their different personalities, dreams and choices while trying to hold on to his own values. Caught between understanding his daughters’ decisions and wanting to protect them, Mesut finds himself facing a very different kind of challenge from the ones he encounters at work.
The new poster features Zeynep, played by Hande Soral; Yasemin, played by İlayda Alişan; Aslı, played by Nil Sude Albayrak; Nergis, played by Cansu Koç; and Bahar, played by Feride Bağ, alongside their father Mesut Bahtiyar.
The warm family portrait highlights the strong bond between Mesut and his daughters while offering a glimpse into the cheerful and intimate atmosphere of the Bahtiyar family.
Love, family and marriage come together
Evlilik Güzeldir (Marriage Is Beautiful) is not solely a story about romantic relationships. Family ties, sibling dynamics, different generations’ perspectives on love and marriage, unexpected encounters and new beginnings will also play an important role in the series.
Each of Mesut’s daughters has her own dreams and outlook on life, while their decisions about love and marriage are bound to affect their relationship with their father. As a result, family conflicts and romantic stories will intersect within the series’ warm neighborhood setting.
