KC Global Media Asia has started pre-production on Rice to Riches, a new reality series hosted and co-produced by DJ and producer Kim Lee, known for Netflix’s Bling Empire.
The eight-episode series will explore the business side of the creator economy, focusing on how content creators generate income through social media, brand partnerships and their own products. Lee will meet creators in their homes, production spaces and offices, examining their professional journeys and the businesses they have built around their online presence.

Rice to Riches Explores the Asian Creator Economy
The first season will feature nine content creators from the US and Asia. Confirmed participants include Michael Le from the US, Malaysia-based sisters Jestinna and Christinna Kuan, and Kevin Ninh from the US. Additional creators will be announced in the coming weeks.
The series will film across the United States and Asia beginning in October.
