Turkish drama continues to travel strongly across international markets as Calinos Entertainment secures a new multi-title licensing agreement with SPI International, reinforcing the long-standing collaboration between the two companies.
Calinos Entertainment’s package is led by Pastel Film-produced hits Second Chance and That’s My Life, two emotionally driven series that exemplify the global appeal of Turkish storytelling through high-stakes drama, family secrets and powerful female journeys.
“We’re pleased to share that we have signed a new agreement with SPI International for five of our titles,” commented Aslı Serim, Head of Content at Calinos Entertainment. “The deal is led by our long-running Turkish dramas Second Chance and That’s My Life, which stand as strong examples of high-quality Turkish drama, combining compelling storytelling with emotional depth.”
About Second Chance:
Second Chance follows an innocent woman, Deniz, who has everything she could ever want in life, until her husband suddenly disappears without a trace. Left with nothing, Deniz struggles to survive for the sake of her children and her elderly father. When she meets Mirat, a man who becomes a lifeline in her darkest days, Deniz is faced with new questions: can she trust again, can she hope again, and can she find love once more?
About That’s My Life:
The series follows Bahar, a young woman struggling to survive a modest life in Istanbul, unaware that her true identity was stolen at birth. Raised by her grandfather’s servants, Bahar is in fact the secret daughter of powerful businessman, Mehmet Emir. When a long-buried truth is about to surface but is silenced by tragedy, her jealous sister is presented as Mehmet’s long-lost daughter, setting off a chain of lies that will force Bahar to confront fate, family, and the life that was taken from her.
