Prime Video is adapting Chloe Walsh’s BookTok sensation and New York Times bestselling series Boys of Tommen for television.
The series will cover the first two novels in the six-book saga, Binding 13 and Keeping 13. The adaptation is penned by A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder writer Poppy Cogan.
Drama Republic, Temple Hill, and wiip are producing the project in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
Set at the prestigious Tommen College in Ireland, Boys of Tommen centers on a forbidden teenage romance between Johnny Kavanagh, a star rugby player on the brink of a professional career, and Shannon Lynch, a shy student with a troubled family background. The series explores themes of love, bullying, abuse, and mental health.
Production is set to begin this year, with a premiere expected in 2027.
The project marks the second major greenlight under Prime Video’s Head of International Originals, Nicole Clemens, who is focusing on UK- and Ireland-based productions with strong international travel potential.
