Blue Ant Rights unveiled 40 new and returning premium titles at London TV Screenings 2026.
Leading the slate is In the Pines, a six-part crime drama inspired by true events. Set against a tense and atmospheric backdrop, the series explores the ripple effects of violence within a close-knit community, blending psychological depth with investigative suspense. Designed as a character-driven thriller, the project aims to balance emotional stakes with procedural intensity.
Meanwhile, Elkhorn takes a very different tonal route. The action-driven Western centers on the formative years of Theodore Roosevelt, charting the experiences that shaped him long before his presidency. Combining frontier grit with biographical drama, the series positions itself as both an origin story and a sweeping period adventure.
Completing the trio is Suspect, a factual drama format built around real-life police interrogations. Each episode reconstructs high-stakes questioning sessions, placing viewers inside the interrogation room as psychological pressure mounts. The format leans into authenticity while delivering the narrative propulsion of scripted drama.
The scripted push is further reinforced by the appointment of Leona Connell as Senior Scripted Consultant. Following Blue Ant Media’s acquisition of Thunderbird Entertainment, the company’s catalogue has now surpassed 9,000 hours, significantly strengthening its global distribution footprint.
Alongside its scripted expansion, Blue Ant Rights continues to showcase strength in crime and factual programming, with returning titles including Killers Caught on Camera Season 4, Last Night Out Season 2, and Murder USA.
Beyond its headline scripted push, Blue Ant Rights’ expanded slate spans an extensive mix of premium factual, documentary, lifestyle, kids, history, science and wildlife programming. The line-up includes investigative true-crime titles such as Fatal Fraud, Fatal First Dates, Bodies on the Bridge, and Poisonous Liaisons S2, alongside returning formats like The Jury: Skeleton in the Garden (Australia).
In documentaries, projects range from the epic travelogue Beyond the Silk Road with Dominic West to the culturally intimate Nenya / Margarita and the AI-focused Deepfaking Sam Altman. Lifestyle offerings spotlight food and travel with Mary’s Kitchen Crush, America the Bountiful, Order Up! S2, Flat Out Food S6, and Adam Richman Eats Italy.
The Kids & Family slate of Blue Ant Rights features inclusive and imaginative titles including I Love Being Me, Old Enough! S3, BeddyByes, Mittens & Pants, and the animated Mermicorno: Starfall. Factual entertainment highlights access-driven series such as World’s Most Secret Places, Paramedics: Emergency Response S3–7, Airport Lost & Found: True Stories, Big Night In, and Trading Places, while history and science are represented by Disaster Autopsy S2, Mysteries from Above S6, The Last Hunt for Nazi Gold, and Volcano Countdown.
Blue Ant Rights’s nature and wildlife programming adds cinematic scale with Aussie Snake Wranglers: Deadly Pursuit S2, Europe’s Wild Kingdoms, Jawsome: Canada’s Great White Sharks, Wild Philippines, Planet Weird S2, and Superbeast, complemented by heartfelt animal-focused series such as For the Love of Pets and Pet Search and Rescue.
