Apple TV+ has officially revealed an impressive lineup of talent joining Juno Temple (Ted Lasso) in the upcoming high-concept series The Husbands.
Produced by A24’s UK division, the eight-episode production will feature an array of acclaimed actors stepping into the roles of Temple’s “husbands,” including Joe Alwyn (Hamnet), Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Bob Marley: One Love), Joel Kinnaman (For All Mankind), Daniel Ings (The Gentlemen), Bob Morley (The 100), and Fehinti Balogun (I May Destroy You).
Adding further depth to the ensemble, the cast is rounded out by established performers such as Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones), Tom Basden (After Life), and Shazad Latif (Star Trek: Discovery), making The Husbands one of the most anticipated prestige dramas in the current global streaming landscape.
This comedic drama, adapted from Holly Gramazio’s bestselling debut novel, follows Lauren (Temple), a woman who discovers that her attic possesses the mystical ability to produce an infinite supply of new husbands, forcing her to question if the perfect life is just one “swap” away.
The Husbands boasts an equally formidable creative team behind the scenes, with the script penned by lead writer Miriam Battye (Succession). The directorial duties are shared by Adam Randall (Slow Horses), Josephine Bornebusch (Bad Sisters), and Kate Hewitt (One Day).
