Turkish comedy-drama My Sweet Lie (Benim Tatlı Yalanım) is expanding its international footprint with a new deal in Italy.
International distributor Eccho Rights has licensed the series to Mediaset, where it premiered on Canale 5 in August and will continue airing daily on Mediaset Infinity.

My Sweet Lie Joins Mediaset’s Turkish Drama Line-Up
Produced by O3 Medya for Star TV, My Sweet Lie stars Furkan Palalı, Aslı Bekiroğlu and Lavinya Ünlüer. The series follows Nejat, a devoted single father who tells his young daughter that her absent mother will eventually return. His carefully maintained lie takes an unexpected turn when Suna enters their lives, bringing love, family and new possibilities with her.
The Italian deal marks another collaboration between Eccho Rights and Mediaset, which has previously acquired Turkish dramas including My Home My Destiny, Everywhere I Go, Brave and Beautiful and Kurt Seyit and Sura.
The agreement comes shortly after My Sweet Lie was picked up by The Walt Disney Company for STAR Life in Portugal, alongside Everywhere I Go, further highlighting the continued international demand for Turkish drama across Western Europe.
The property has also proven its strength as a travelling format, with local adaptations produced in Greece (Like a Lie, Open TV) and Slovakia (Mom for Rent, Markiza) — further evidence of the story’s reach and its resonance with European audiences.
Melis Hamamcıoğlu, Director of Digital Media Acquisition & Content Sales at Eccho Rights, who concluded the deal, said: “Italy has become one of the most exciting markets for Turkish drama in Western Europe, and Mediaset has been central to that story. My Sweet Lie is exactly the kind of warm, universal series that connects with Italian viewers, and to see it land here just days after our Portuguese deal shows how much appetite there now is for these titles right across the region.”
