A Murder at the End of the World, a seven-part mini crime drama starring Emma Corrin and Clive Owen, premieres on November 14. On November 21, the fifth season of Fargo arrives. In addition, David Fincher’s intriguing new film The Killer has been added to the Netflix catalog as of November 10. Therefore, there are many interesting crime dramas to watch in November.
That’s why I wanted to prepare a list that would appeal not only to those who love crime dramas as a genre, but also to viewers who want to watch good work. In addition to American and British dramas, I find it important to include European and Nordic crime dramas in my list as I find them very successful. 1- Mindhunter (2017-2019)
Director David Fincher, whose filmography consists mostly of crime-thriller movies, brings the world’s most famous serial killers to talk in the Netflix original series Mindhunter. Set in the 1970s, the series follows two FBI agents, Holden Ford and Bill Tench, as they interview convicted serial killers and establish the foundations of forensic psychology and killer profiling. Jonathan Groff is accompanied by Holt McCallany, Anna Torv and Hannah Gross in Mindhunter, one of the best productions in the criminology genre.
2- True Detective (2014- )
True Detective, originally written by literature professor Nic Pizzolatto, is not just a well-written whodunit. The anthology series, which stands out with its exploration of why the crime is committed, character development and the psychology of the killer, examines a different crime in each season. Jodie Foster and Kali Reis share the lead roles in Night Country, the fourth season of the series, which will air on January 14. True Detective is on BluTV with its first three seasons.
3- Forbrydelsen (2007-2012)
Created by Søren Sveistrup, the Danish production Forbrydelsen is one of the productions that come to mind when we talk about “Nordic noir”. The first season of this crime drama set in Copenhagen was broadcast in 2007. Sofie Gråbøl stars as Detective Sarah Lund in the series where a different murder is investigated in each season.

The Fall is an Irish-British co-production BBC series about Stella Gibson’s persistent hunt for a serial killer in Belfast. Starring Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson, The Fall is a crime drama series with elements of psychological thriller.
6- Bron/Broen (2011-2018)
Another northern thriller, Bron/Broen, created by Hans Rosenfeldt, centers on a body found on a bridge between Denmark and Sweden, and the two countries working together to find the killer. The series, which first aired in 2011, ended after four seasons focusing on detectives Saga Norén and Martin Rohde.
7- Fargo (2014-2024)
Fargo, the Emmy-winning crime anthology based on the Coen brothers’ 1996 film of the same name, has been running since 2014. The series focuses on a different case in each season. 9- Gomorrah (2014-2021)
Gomorrah is an Italian mafia classic. The series sheds light on the Camorra, a Neapolitan criminal organization. The story is told through the eyes of Ciro, who breaks with tradition to become the new boss of the organization. You can watch the series, which ended after five seasons, on BluTV.
10- Line of Duty (2012-2021)
Line of Duty is another BBC cult crime thriller. The series tells the story of AC-12, an anti-corruption unit that investigates police officers. The series, which won nineteen awards from fifty-four nominations with the concept of “cops catching cops”, ended after six seasons.
11- Breaking Bad (2008-2013)
Created by Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad, has left its mark on popular culture and influenced the series that followed with its style. Breaking ratings records at the time of its release, Breaking Bad has also managed to write its name among the legendary crime dramas.
