Inter Medya’s internationally distributed drama series Halef is set to make history as the first Turkish title to join Disney+ MENA’s content offering. The announcement was made at Disney+’s launch event in Riyadh ahead of the platform’s upgraded streaming service rollout across the Middle East and North Africa on October 6, 2026.
Produced by Most Production and airing locally on NOW in Türkiye, Halef will headline the Turkish content offering as Disney+ introduces its new streaming experience in the region.
Halef Cast Joins Disney+ MENA Launch in Riyadh
The series’ stars İlhan Şen and Biran Damla Yılmaz attended the Riyadh event alongside creator and producer Gül Oğuz. The cast took part in the official stage announcement before joining a press conference with regional and international media.
The Riyadh appearance also generated significant attention on social media, with the stars’ posts receiving millions of views and attracting strong engagement from Saudi audiences.
