The second season of Heated Rivalry is heading to Sky and its streaming service Now in the UK and Ireland next spring, following the Canadian sports romance’s breakout success with its first season.
Adapted from Rachel Reid’s Game Changers book series for Bell Media’s Crave, Heated Rivalry debuted in November 2025 and quickly became a hit in Canada. The upcoming season is set to premiere on Crave in April 2027, while viewers in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch it exclusively on Sky.
Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie will return to their leading roles for the new season. They will be joined by Justice Smith, known for I Saw the TV Glow and Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and Charlie Gillespie, whose credits include One Night Only, Splitsville and Suze.
Jacob Tierney, who created the series, is returning as writer, director and executive producer for season two. Brendan Brady and Jayme Alter Wilson are also executive producing, with Lori Fischburg and Liane Cunje serving as producers. Author Rachel Reid remains attached to the series as a consulting producer, while Mike Goldbach joins the writing team for the second season.
Produced by Accent Aigu Entertainment in association with Crave, Heated Rivalry will once again be distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus.
With its new season set to arrive on Crave in April and on Sky the following spring, the series is continuing to build on the momentum generated by its first season.
