Ay Yapım’s Ömür Usta, written by Çağla Kızılelma and directed by Hilal Saral, has released its second trailer.
The first trailer can be watched here.
Starring Nurgül Yeşilçay, Bülent İnal and Gonca Vuslateri, Ömür Usta will meet audiences on NOW very soon.
The newly released trailer offers new clues about Ömür’s (Nurgül Yeşilçay) struggle to stay strong for her children and the challenges she faces. During a heartfelt conversation with Tunç (Bülent İnal), Ömür’s vulnerability as she carries the weight of her life comes to the fore, while the trailer highlights the portrait of a mother who refuses to give up fighting for her children despite everything she has been through.
Nevra’s (Gonca Vuslateri) condescending attitude toward Ömür also stands out in the trailer. Meanwhile, Ömür’s son Mete (Enes Koçak) is in love with İpek (Sude Zülal Güler), the daughter of Tunç and Nevra, and the conflict he experiences because he has to hide his true identity from her further intensifies the tension between mother and son.

One of the most striking moments in the Ömür Usta trailer comes when the grandmother tells Ömür, “A mother can take care of three children, but three children cannot take care of one mother.” The line offers a powerful reflection of the family dynamics at the heart of the series and Ömür’s struggle.
It is also revealed that one of Ömür’s children is struggling with gambling addiction while another is pregnant, raising further questions about how Ömür will cope with all these challenges and increasing curiosity ahead of the series premiere.
Built around family ties, betrayal, love, class conflict and second chances, Ömür Usta follows a woman’s struggle to stay on her feet and hold on to life despite all her wounds. Starring Nurgül Yeşilçay, Bülent İnal and Gonca Vuslateri, the series features a strong ensemble cast including Enes Koçak, İbrahim Selim, Gülçin Kültür Şahin, Pınar Çağlar Gençtürk, Sude Zülal Güler and Zerrin Sümer, and will premiere on NOW soon.
