The Peaky Blinders universe is expanding once again with a brand-new sequel series.
Jamie Bell is set to take over the role of Duke Shelby, previously portrayed by Conrad Khan and Barry Keoghan, while Charlie Heaton will be at the center of the story’s new generation of characters. The cast also includes Jessica Brown Findlay, Lashana Lynch and Lucy Karczewski.
Created by Steven Knight, the series is set in early 1950s Birmingham, in the aftermath of World War II. The story unfolds roughly a decade after the events of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, with Duke Shelby emerging as an older, more ambitious and significantly more dangerous figure.
The new installment has received a two-season order, with each season consisting of six episodes. Produced in collaboration between Netflix and BBC, filming has already begun in Birmingham. The series will explore a post-war world shaped by reconstruction, where power, opportunity and violence collide at every turn.
