The End Of It marks the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Maria Martínez Bayona.
Rebecca Hall leads the cast, which also includes Gael García Bernal, Noomi Rapace, and Beanie Feldstein.
Set in the near future, the story unfolds in a world where aging has been cured and death has become optional. Blending dark comedy and science fiction, The End Of It explores themes of death, life, art and human relationships.
Producers include Elation Pictures, Fasten Films, and Eye Eye Pictures. International sales (excluding Latin America) are handled by Bankside Films, with WME Independent representing the film in North America. Shot in Spain’s Canary Islands, the film is backed by BBC Film and is a co-production with The Mediapro Studio.
The film will be introduced to buyers at EFM.
