Ryan Coogler’s highly anticipated The X-Files reboot for Hulu has announced an impressive ensemble of guest stars, bringing a modern lens to the legendary science fiction franchise.
Joining the previously announced leads, Himesh Patel and Danielle Deadwyler, who portray two vastly different FBI agents assigned to a long-shuttered division for unexplained phenomena, is a star-studded guest cast including Steve Buscemi, Ben Foster, Oscar nominee Amy Madigan, and Devery Jacobs. The lineup is further bolstered by Lochlyn Munro, Tantoo Cardinal, Joel D. Montgrand, and Sofia Grace Clifton, promising a rich and diverse world for the new series.

Behind the scenes, the project is helmed by Coogler, who is fresh off an Oscar win for Sinners and will serve as the writer and director for the pilot. Original series creator Chris Carter is also on board as an executive producer, ensuring a bridge between the classic legacy and this new vision produced by Disney’s Onyx Collective, 20th Television, and Coogler’s Proximity Media.
Designed for a Hulu release, the series aims to honor the spirit of the original while utilizing contemporary storytelling and a new generation of characters to carry the mystery of the X-Files into the future.
