UK-based distributor Sphere Abacus has added another title to its growing true crime catalogue, securing Britain’s TikTok Murder for Prime Video UK & Ireland.
Produced by Phoenix Television and Born This Way Media in association with TPC, the two-part documentary will debut on the platform later this year.
Sphere Abacus’ acquisition is part of a broader multi-title true crime agreement between Sphere Abacus and Prime Video UK & Ireland, overseen by the company’s Global Content Director, Will Stapley. The deal further strengthens Sphere Abacus’ presence in the premium factual market while expanding its partnership with the streaming service.
Sphere Abacus’ series examines the 2023 killing of 62-year-old army veteran Stuart Crocker, who was found fatally stabbed in his Hampshire home. Investigators soon focused on his significantly younger girlfriend, TikTok creator Winter Swan Miller, whose social media activity drew widespread attention as the case unfolded.
Beyond the murder investigation, Britain’s TikTok Murder explores issues including drug addiction, the exploitation of vulnerable military veterans by criminal gangs and additional allegations connected to an earlier unexplained death, revealing a case that extends far beyond the initial crime.
