Ay Yapım’s upcoming drama Susuz Yaz (Dry Summer) has begun preparations ahead of filming, with the series’ cast coming together for its first table read.
Based on Necati Cumalı’s acclaimed novel of the same name, the series is directed by Yusuf Pirhasan and Mehmet Can Bindal, with the screenplay written by Sema Ergenekon. Filming is set to begin soon in Adana, Türkiye, as Susuz Yaz (Dry Summer) prepares to make its debut on Kanal D.
Susuz Yaz (Dry Summer) Cast
The series stars Mert Ramazan Demir, Lizge Cömert and Batuhan Bozkurt Yüzügüleç in leading roles. The cast also includes Şebnem Bozoklu, İrem Sak, Serpil Gül, Deniz Celiloğlu, Umut Kurt, Şirin Sultan Şaldamlı, Güneş Sayın, Begüm Akkaya, Ilgım İpekçi, Meriç Rakalar, Özgür Daniel Foster, Kayra Zapçı, Esra Ünnü and Kemal Burak Alper.
The characters in the series include Osman, Bahar, Hasan, Döne, Yeter, Beyaz, Resul, Ramo, Fatma, Hatice, Dilan, Elvan, Müslüm, Murtaza, Gülşen, Filiz and Cevri.
Filming to Begin in Adana
Based on Necati Cumalı’s celebrated work, Susuz Yaz (Dry Summer) will begin filming in Adana soon. Following the table read, the production team is continuing preparations ahead of the start of filming.
Produced by Ay Yapım, Susuz Yaz (Dry Summer) will premiere on Kanal D.
