The Spanish broadcaster Nova has officially added the successful Turkish drama The Nightfall to its programming slate.
Set to air under the local title Cuento de una Noche, the series will be featured in the coveted prime-time slot, broadcasting Monday through Friday at 21:30, effectively taking over the position previously held by the drama Leyla.
Produced by NGM Medya for ATV, The Nightfall showcases the talents of lead stars Burak Deniz and Su Burcu Yazgı Coşkun, supported by an ensemble cast that includes notable actors such as Gürkan Uygun, Emel Çölgeçen, Rüçhan Çalışkur, Özlem Türkad, and Kerem Arslanoğlu. The story unfolds against the atmospheric backdrops of Denizli and Istanbul, centering on a police inspector who returns to his hometown determined to avenge his father’s death. However, his mission becomes deeply complicated when he finds himself falling in love with the daughter of the very man he holds responsible for his father’s demise.
Distributed globally by ATV Distribution, The Nightfall has established itself as a significant international hit. Following its successful debut in Turkey in 2024, the drama has continued to expand its global footprint, securing broadcast deals in numerous territories including Italy (Mediaset), Panama, Mexico, Bosnia, Hungary, and Romania, further cementing the enduring appeal of Turkish storytelling on the international stage.
