Ay Yapım’s Envy has been nominated for “Best Drama Series” at the 2026 Seoul International Drama Awards. The series’ screenwriter, Yılmaz Şahin, is also nominated for “Best Screenwriter,” making him the only Turkish nominee in the category.
Envy, which aired on NOW last season, has added another international achievement to its success with its nominations at the 2026 Seoul International Drama Awards. Produced by Ay Yapım, the series will compete for “Best Drama Series” at one of the world’s leading television awards.
Envy Is the Only Turkish Production Nominated at the Seoul International Drama Awards
This year, 352 productions from 46 countries applied to the 21st Seoul International Drama Awards, with Envy becoming the only Turkish production to receive a nomination.
Directed by Nadim Güç and written by Yılmaz Şahin, the series will compete in the “Best Drama Series” category against productions from Colombia, Taiwan, China, South Korea, and Greece.
Yılmaz Şahin Nominated for “Best Screenwriter”
Yılmaz Şahin, the screenwriter of the series, has also been nominated for “Best Screenwriter” at the 2026 Seoul International Drama Awards.
As the only Turkish nominee in the category, Şahin will compete alongside the screenwriters of internationally acclaimed productions including Pluribus, Slow Horses, and A Better Man.
