Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters visited the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank on Wednesday, the same day Warner Bros. Discovery’s board formally rejected Paramount Skydance’s hostile bid for the company.
In photos shared by Warner Bros. Discovery, Sarandos and Peters are seen walking the lot with WBD CEO David Zaslav and posing in front of iconic landmarks, including the Warner Bros. water tower. The visit comes as Netflix continues discussions around a potential acquisition of WBD’s streaming and studios assets, which include Warner Bros., HBO, HBO Max and DC Studios. WBD previously confirmed it had accepted Netflix’s reported $82.7 billion offer for that division on Dec. 5.
No further details were disclosed regarding the purpose of the visit, the executives involved in the meetings, or the substance of the discussions.
