Netflix has ordered a straight-to-series adaptation of Jess Walter’s bestseller So Far Gone.
So Far Gone centers around a journalist coming back from retirement to search for his missing daughter. Mark Bomback will serve as the writer of the project, while Jess Walter will serve as an executive producer.
Story Syndicate and Tomorrow Studios will be among the producing companies. Netflix has yet to announce the cast or release date. It was noted that Netflix acquired the project after a competitive bidding process.
