Following a busy and highly productive Content Americas market, TRT Sales Content Sales Executive Gökçe Aydoğdu reflects on the growing interest in Turkish content across Latin America. With new series launches, high-profile meetings, and a diverse catalogue spanning drama, action, period series, and children’s content, TRT Sales continues to expand its footprint in the region.
How was Content Americas 2026 for TRT Sales?
It was much more crowded than last year, which was great for us. Our main goal was to further explore the Latin American market, better promote our content in the region, and expand the international journey of our series. We had the opportunity to meet with major companies we hadn’t previously engaged with, such as Globo and Fremantle. Overall, it was an extremely busy and productive market in terms of meetings.

Which contents did you highlight at Content Americas?
This season, we have two new series: Deep in Love and Children of Paradise. We showcased both new titles, along with our successful series from previous seasons. Last year, TRT was named the most-watched channel in Turkey based on overall ratings. The TRT Sales catalogue is very rich, offering content for every audience, including family dramas, action series, high-budget period dramas, documentaries, children’s animation, and feature films. Following this successful market, we believe our new series will have a strong and promising path ahead in the Latin American region.
