THE FULL TEXT OF GOLD FILM’S STATEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:
“Regarding some unfair and inaccurate criticisms that have been shared in the public for a few days regarding our TV series ‘Red Roses’, we would like to state clearly and precisely that the story we narrate has nothing to do with any real institution, organization or person. We have no intention of targeting any segment of society or discrediting any belief or value.
As in all TV series, in ‘Red Roses’, the right and wrong, good and bad states of being in life are described by referring to the characters in the series, not to a group or a group of people. In our story, while showing the destructive effects of people from different segments of society who abuse their own value judgments, we aimed to portray how people with different worldviews can find a common language with good intentions in life. Our series was designed to hold a mirror to the segments of this society that manage to live together with all their diversities.
We would like to be the subject of fair criticism, keeping in mind that ‘Red Roses’ is a fictional story, neither a documentary nor a journalistic documentary. We respectfully follow the likes and criticisms and leave it to our valued viewers to judge the intentional comments.”
