MFE-MediaForEurope and ProSiebenSat.1 Media will make their first joint appearance at MIPCOM Cannes 2026, bringing three distribution businesses under one roof as the companies look to strengthen their international content partnerships.
Under the theme “Power of Cooperation,” Seven. One Studios International, Mediaset Distribution and Mediterráneo will share stand P4.C18 at the Palais des Festivals from October 12 to 15. The companies will showcase new launches and selected titles from their respective catalogues while maintaining separate operations and brand identities.
A new chapter in European distribution
The joint presence follows MFE’s acquisition of a 75% stake in ProSiebenSat.1 in 2025. Although the companies remain legally and operationally independent, the shared stand represents a visible step in their efforts to explore commercial synergies and expand the international reach of their content.
Henrik Pabst, Chief Content Officer at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, said the arrangement would make it easier for clients and partners to connect with the three distributors while preserving each business’s independence.
Giacomo Poletti, MFE’s Group Director of Rights Acquisition and Distribution Partnerships at Mediaset, described the collaboration as an opportunity to strengthen Europe’s presence in the global content market by combining the companies’ established industry relationships.
For Mediterráneo, CEO Ghislain Barrois highlighted the potential to introduce its stories and formats to new territories while building connections across the three businesses.
The shared stand will serve as a central meeting point for buyers, partners and media representatives during MIPCOM, with each distributor continuing to present its own portfolio.
