The latest monthly data shows continued dominance by YouTube, which remained the top distributor in January with a 12.5% share, slightly down from 12.7% in December.
The Walt Disney Company stayed in second place but recorded the strongest month-over-month growth, climbing from 10.7% to 11.9% and narrowing the gap with YouTube.
Netflix remained third, slipping slightly from 9.0% to 8.8%, while Paramount held fourth place despite a decline from 8.6% to 8.2%.
A structural reporting change affected NBCUniversal, which appeared as NBCU (6.4%) and Versant (2.0%) in January. Combined, they reached 8.5%, slightly above December’s 8.2%, without altering their overall competitive position.
Overall, January reflects a stable but increasingly competitive landscape for distributors, with Disney emerging as the key momentum driver heading into the new year.
