Prime Video has released the highly anticipated first trailer for Off Campus, the television adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s global bestselling book series.
All eight episodes of the first season are set to premiere on the streaming platform on May 13. This inaugural season draws inspiration from the first book, The Deal, centering on the “opposites attract” romance between Hannah (Ella Bright), a quiet and talented songwriter, and Garrett (Belmont Cameli), Briar University’s star hockey player.
Off Campus trailer highlights the fan-favorite “fake dating” trope, as Hannah and Garrett strike a deal to enter a public relationship to help Hannah grab the attention of her longtime crush, Justin (Josh Heuston).

Adopting a narrative structure similar to Bridgerton, the series is designed as an anthology where each season focuses on a different couple from the beloved book series. This dynamic approach has already paved the way for a second season, which was confirmed back in February.
Developed for television by Louisa Levy, known for her work on The Flight Attendant, the production is backed by the heavy-hitting expertise of Amazon MGM Studios and Temple Hill. As the characters navigate the complexities of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, Off Campus is poised to become a major global hit for Prime Video, bringing the high-stakes world of college hockey and romance to life for a whole new audience.
