In a major multi-territory acquisition, Prime Video has secured the rights to the highly anticipated action-thriller series Embassy for the UK, Ireland, Canada, France, Australia, and New Zealand.
Starring Anna Kendrick, Sam Heughan, and J.K. Simmons, the six-part series has officially begun filming in Cologne and London, with a scheduled launch for next year. The ensemble cast has also expanded to include several internationally recognized names, such as Katie McGrath (Supergirl), Luke Treadaway (Unbroken), James Murray (The Crown), and Alexander Karim (Swarm).

The high-stakes geopolitical narrative follows Layla (Kendrick), a sharp American diplomat stationed in London. When armed mercenaries storm the U.S. Embassy, she is thrust into an impossible dilemma: protect the Ambassador (Simmons) or follow orders to exfiltrate a high-value asset. In the tense hours that follow, she is forced to rely on her own instincts and the reluctant assistance of her battle-hardened ex-fiancé, Connor Wright (Heughan).
Created by Rom Lotan and directed by John Strickland and Christian Alvart, Embassy is a high-budget co-production between AGC Television, Ascendant Fox, and Turbine Studios, poised to be a global breakout hit in the prestige action genre.
