Netflix is developing a new drama series centered on Myron Bolitar, the iconic character featured in 12 of author Harlan Coben’s bestselling novels, marking the next major step in the highly successful creative partnership between the streamer and the writer.
The powerhouse creative team behind the camera includes Emmy and Golden Globe-winning legend David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Presumed Innocent) and Kyle Long (Suits), who will both serve as showrunners, writers, and executive producers, while Greg Yaitanes (House of the Dragon) is on board to executive produce and direct several episodes.
Colin Woodell stars as Myron Bolitar, a former college basketball star whose dreams of an NBA career were shattered by a sudden injury, leading him to reinvent himself as a fiercely loyal sports agent at his own firm, MB Sports. He is joined by KJ Apa as Win Lockwood, Myron’s unflappable, endlessly resourceful, and fiercely loyal best friend who walked away from his family’s immense wealth to build his own path, and Diane Guerrero as Esperanza Diaz, a tough-talking former professional wrestler who serves as Myron’s indispensable right hand and the backbone of the agency.
At its core, the Myron Bolitar series follows Bolitar as he navigates the high-stakes, often murky world of professional sports, where protecting his overlooked clients frequently pulls him into dangerous investigations involving blackmail, murder, and deep-seated secrets. The series does not yet have an official release date.
