The television adaptation of Life Is Strange is in development at Amazon Prime Video.
Maisy Stella will star as Chloe, while Tatum Grace Hopkins takes on the role of Max.
The story begins as Max, a photography student, discovers her ability to rewind time while saving her childhood best friend Chloe. As she struggles to understand her newfound power, the pair investigate the mysterious disappearance of a fellow student in their town, uncovering dark secrets and facing an impossible life-or-death choice.
The series is created and showrun by Charlie Covell. The project is developed in partnership with Square Enix, Story Kitchen and LuckyChap Entertainment, with Amazon MGM Studios producing.
The original game launched in 2015 and had reached over 20 million players worldwide as of 2023. The concluding chapter of the game saga, Life Is Strange: Reunion, is set to launch on March 26 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
