The winners of 83. Golden Globes have been announced.
Hosted by Nikki Glaser, the ceremony took place at The Beverly Hilton in California, USA. In line with the revised format, all 28 categories once again featured six nominees each this year.
Paul Thomas Anderson and his film One Battle After Another impressed with their wins. One Battle After Another won a total of four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Paul Thomas Anderson claimed his first-ever Golden Globe wins of his career, taking home the awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay. Teyana Taylor was also honored with the award for Best Supporting Actress.
As another feature film, Hamnet made its mark. Created by Oscar-winning Chloé Zhao, the film won Best Motion Picture – Drama. Jessie Buckley, with her performance in the film, claimed the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama award.
Sinners, one of the most ambitions features of the awards season, won Best Original Score – Motion Picture thanks to Ludwig Göransson’s music and because of its success at the box-office, took home the award of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Young star Timothée Chalamet won his first Golden Globe award, Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, with his performance in Marty Supreme.
Adolescence stood out amid the television series. Netflix production won the Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television award. Acting categories brought wins to Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty and Owen Cooper. Here are the winners of the 83rd Golden Globe Awards:
