Originally launched in 2009, SupermodelMe is being reimagined as a vertical microseries tailored for mobile audiences on FlareFlow.
The reboot is a collaboration between COL Group and Refinery Media, marking one of the first large-scale attempts to fully redesign an established reality format for mobile-first storytelling.
Created by Karen Seah, the franchise previously aired across major Asian networks and was later picked up by Netflix, building a strong regional and global following. The new version will be filmed in Singapore and hosted once again by Cindy Bishop, alongside returning judge Ase Wang and co-judge Patricia Gouw.
The SupermodelMe reboot not only modernizes the format for vertical viewing but also expands its ecosystem, with standout contestants potentially moving into future microdrama projects within Refinery Media’s growing slate.
As platforms like FlareFlow scale globally, with millions of users and hundreds of original series, this move reflects a broader industry shift, where proven IP is being repurposed for a new generation of mobile-native viewers.
