Banijay Entertainment has introduced two new Dutch reality formats at the London TV Screenings: Last One Standing, a fitness competition, and The Bicycle Race, an adventure cycling show.
Last One Standing features celebrities living together 24/7 as they take on elite, AI-supported challenges, with the last person standing declared the winner, no eliminations involved.
The Bicycle Race follows six celebrity teams cycling across India, navigating high-stakes challenges, local community interactions, and strategic obstacles.
Both formats are visually striking, character-driven, and designed to appeal to global audiences. With these shows, Banijay continues to invest in the growing “sportainment” trend, combining fitness, endurance, and personal growth with entertainment.
“As we continue our drive in the sportainment space, Last One Standing arrives at the right moment,” said James Townley, chief content officer, development, at Banijay. “Audiences everywhere are embracing fitness, prioritising mental resilience, and investing in personal growth, and this format channels that movement into high-stakes, elite-level entertainment.”
Regarding The Bicycle Race, he said: “This uplifting, visually striking and character driven adventure reality format combines jeopardy, scale, emotion, culture and strategy in a distinctive way. We expect this vibrant format will resonate across multiple markets.”
