Hulu has officially greenlit an ambitious new slate of unscripted content, headlined by a fresh format from the creative minds behind The Traitors.
Hosted by The White Lotus star Parker Posey, the new competition series titled The Mob brings together a group of celebrities in a luxurious Italian villa. To claim the $250,000 grand prize, contestants must psychologically outmaneuver one another while tackling “mafya-inspired” challenges to survive elimination.
The high-profile cast features recognizable faces such as Aida Turturro (The Sopranos), Willam Belli (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Joe Gorga (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), and Demi Engemann (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives). Developed by Studio Lambert and Primal Media, the project is executive produced by industry veterans including Stephen Lambert and Tim Harcourt.
In addition to this new format, Hulu is expanding its existing hits by greenlighting a spin-off of the successful series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which will now head to Orange County. The streamer is also partnering with Freeform for “Million Dollar Nannies,” a series following elite nannies as they navigate professional competition and personal scandals while attempting to establish a high-end agency in Ibiza. This expansive lineup reinforces Hulu’s commitment to premium, high-stakes reality television that blends social strategy with celebrity culture.
