ConjureInk LLC has launched Episodica, a marketplace designed to connect microdrama producers with complete, licensable vertical-series scripts and adaptation services. Available at Episodica.app, the platform opens with seven scripted properties across multiple genres, including original stories and adaptations of public-domain classics.
Unlike concept-based pitches or conventional feature screenplays, the properties are developed as complete episodic seasons. Depending on the project, listings can include 40 to 60 finished episodes, a series treatment, episode outlines, character and location materials, creative direction and protected script previews. Producers can review the materials, share projects with decision-makers and inquire about licensing or adaptation.
“Vertical production is expanding faster than conventional development pipelines can supply it,” said Ron Martinez, founder of ConjureInk. “Episodica gives producers complete story architecture and finished episodic scripts they can evaluate immediately. When a title moves forward, ConjureInk can also build the detailed production package needed to take it closer to the camera.”
Localization and Production Services for Vertical Drama
Episodica also offers services for producers looking to adapt vertical series for international markets. ConjureInk can translate scripts and localize them for specific languages and territories, adjusting dialogue, names, settings, cultural references, humor and social conventions while preserving the original story structure, characters and cliffhangers.
The company distinguishes between its enriched script packages and more extensive production packages. The latter can include shot boards for individual episodes, camera and staging directions, visual references, character continuity materials, production designs and downloadable assets for production teams. Producers can preview the approach before commissioning a complete package for a project they intend to produce.
Episodica’s Opening Catalog Includes The Maltese Falcon and Night of the Living Dead
The initial catalog features an Episodica reimagining of The Maltese Falcon and a new vertical adaptation of Night of the Living Dead. Original projects include Here Boy, a paranormal romance about a woman and her shapeshifting wolfhound, alongside a dark nanny revenge story and additional romance, fantasy, thriller and crime titles developed for short-form episodic viewing.
Beyond the marketplace, ConjureInk works with publishers, authors and rights holders to adapt existing fiction into vertical drama, multivoice audio, Videobooks, vertical webcomics and promotional media.
The launch comes as vertical drama attracts interest from established studios, streaming platforms, independent producers and international distributors. Episodica aims to give buyers access to developed material and provide participating rights holders with a direct route to production partnerships.
