OGM UNIVERSE has appointed Selim Türkmen as Sales Director for MENA and Africa, expanding its international sales team and strengthening its focus on the two regions.
Türkmen joins the company with extensive experience in international television distribution. He spent eight years at Kanal D International, where he joined in 2016 to oversee sales across Western Europe, Africa and SAARC. In 2020, his responsibilities expanded to include MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa and Western Europe, before he was appointed Director of Sales in 2022.
In 2025, Türkmen moved into content production, joining Hacıyatmaz Group as Director of Sales and Business Development. His role gave him experience in show packaging, budgeting and commercial strategy from a producer’s perspective. He speaks English and French fluently and has a strong command of Spanish.
At OGM UNIVERSE, Türkmen will lead content distribution strategy across MENA and Africa, focusing on expanding the company’s regional presence and developing partnerships with broadcasters and streaming platforms.
