As 2025 draws to a close, Turkish TV series face rising production costs, shifting viewing habits and an unforgiving ratings race.
Some new and established series managed to move to the next year, some Turkish TV series were cut short or ended unexpectedly after seemingly a good run. While new shows are slated to debut in 2026.
The Shows That Held Their Ground
While many new launches faded after only a few episodes, some series managed to stay the course. One Love (7.10) continues even after many of the original cast have left the show. Meanwhile Far Away (14.44) maintains high ABC1 ratings. Halef (7.44), Sins and Roses (7.37), Envy (5.50), Lovers & Liars (5.04), The Ottoman: Orhan (4.40) maintain momentum. Deep in Love continues to lead the ABC1 ratings with a 16.51 share.

Early Finales and Quiet Goodbyes
Süreç Film’s new drama Terra Rossa, starring Engin Akyürek and Gülsim Ali in the leading roles, concluded with its fifth episode. Gold Film’s new drama A Mother’s Oath reunited Salih Bademci and Özge Özpirinçci. However, after ratings failed to improve following the third episode, the series was wrapped up with the fifth episode.
NTC Media’s My Beautiful Revenge also ended prematurely. The show will be concluding with its 13th episode. Meanwhile, MF Yapım’s Blooming Lady will say farewell to the screens with its 64th episode after a solid run.
New Turkish TV Series to Launch in 2026
- ATV’s new show, starring Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Afra Saraçoğlu, A.B.İ. is expected to launch at the end of 2025 or early 2026.
- Now TV is preparing Ömür Usta, produced by Ay Yapım and starring Nurgül Yeşilçay.
- Baba Yapım is developing Aynı Yağmurun Altında (previously titled Liliyar) for ATV. The romantic drama is expected to air in 2026.
- Haysiyet, produced by Süreç Film, is set to air on Kanal D. The cast has yet to be announced.
- Med Yapım is producing Yeraltı for Now TV. Deniz Can Aktaş, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu and Devrim Özkan will be playing the lead roles.
- Dass Yapım will be handling the production of DOC for Now TV. The medical adaptation will star İbrahim Çelikkol and Sıla Türkoğlu.
- OGM Pictures’ production currently known as Ağla Sevdam is expected to star Mert Ramazan Demir. Romantic drama has not yet been attached to a broadcaster.
- Another OGM Pictures’ production Karakuyu is described as a psychological drama/thriller and has yet to secure a broadcaster.
