Following a highly dynamic and well-attended Content Americas market, OGM Universe Global Distribution & Partnership Director Ekin Koyuncu Karaman shares insights into the growing momentum of Turkish drama across Latin America. With standout performances from new titles like Deep in Love and strong returns from second seasons and library series, OGM Universe continues to expand its footprint through new deals, successful launches, and top-ranking broadcasts across the region.
How was Content Americas 2026 for OGM Universe?
Content Americas went very well. It was extremely busy with strong attendance. We are very excited about our new series, Deep in Love, which is performing very well in Turkey. When a series delivers average ratings of 14–15 across all audience groups, it naturally generates strong interest in Latin America as well. We have already closed several deals for Deep in Love during the market, and based on the clients we are currently in discussions with, we believe many more will follow.

Beyond your new flagship title, which series from your catalogue attracted the most interest from Latin American buyers?
In addition, we are continuing with the second seasons of Six of Us, The Fall of the King, working with clients who had previously licensed these titles, and we are securing new licenses for their upcoming seasons. The same applies to Lost in Love and Broken Destiny.
This week, The Fall of the King launched in Puerto Rico, and Six of Us is set to premiere there in February, which we are very pleased about. We also have some exciting developments regarding Reborn, which is currently on air in Ecuador and performing in the Top 2. With Deep in Love leading the way, both our new titles and library series are now expanding successfully across Latin America.
