Patience continues to broaden its international reach with a new wave of global sales.
Distributor Beta Film announced at London TV Screenings that the crime drama has been licensed across multiple territories spanning Latin America to Asia.
In Latin America, rights have been acquired by AMC Networks, while ABC has secured the series for Australia and BBC Brit for Africa. Across Europe, new deals include RAI (Italy), ProSiebenSat.1 (Germany), VRT (Belgium), TET (Latvia) and Telia (Estonia). In Asia, the show has been picked up by NOW TV in Hong Kong and NHK in Japan. U.S. broadcast rights are currently being explored with PBS.
The series follows young police archivist Patience Evans as she assists in solving complex criminal cases. Season two delivered strong 28-day consolidated ratings on Channel 4, reinforcing the show’s growing momentum. Production on season three is set to begin this spring in Belgium and York.
Produced by Eagle Eye Drama, the series is created by Matt Baker and directed by Maarten Moerkerke.
