Paramount TV Studios has signed an overall deal with Yellowjackets creators Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson.
The duo will remain within the Paramount ecosystem following their previous overall agreement with Showtime. Under the new pact, Lyle and Nickerson will develop and produce original series for Paramount TV Studios. The studio operates under the leadership of president Matt Thunell.
“We are thrilled to expand our long-standing creative partnership with Ashley and Bart, who are singular, fearless, and groundbreaking storytellers,” said Thunell. “We look forward to supporting them making many epic stories to come.”
The announcement comes just ahead of production on the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets. Lyle and Nickerson will continue to serve as showrunners on the survival drama, which follows a girls’ soccer team fighting for survival after a plane crash in the Ontario wilderness.
Other creatives currently under overall deals with Paramount TV Studios include Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (Stranger Things), Liz Tigelaar and Issa Rae.
