Calinos Entertainment concluded MIPCOM 2026 with new sales for Love in the Ashes and Salted Love, promising negotiations across several territories, and renewed international interest in its established titles.
The company also highlighted growing demand for its limited series and an expanding catalogue of international productions.
İsmail Dursunov, Deputy General Manager at Calinos Entertainment, spoke about the company’s experience at MIPCOM, the titles that attracted the most attention, and the opportunities emerging across Europe, MENA, Latin America and other markets.
How was MIPCOM 2026 for Calinos Entertainment?
MIPCOM 2026 was a very productive market for Calinos Entertainment. We came to Cannes with a broader catalog this year, which allowed us to reach a wider range of buyers and have meaningful discussions across different regions. Our meetings were focused and valuable, and we received very positive feedback on our new titles.
We have already sold Love in the Ashes and Salted Love to Romania and Albania, and we are close to finalizing deals in MENA, Hungary, Serbia, Croatia and Africa. We also had promising meetings with Latin American buyers, with negotiations expected to progress further at the upcoming markets in Cancún and Miami.
What made this year’s MIPCOM particularly encouraging was seeing interest across different parts of our slate, from Turkish dramas and limited series to our expanding international offering. We left Cannes with new deals, promising discussions and new business opportunities.
Which of Calinos Entertainment’s titles stood out at MIPCOM this year?
Love in the Ashes and Salted Love were undoubtedly among the biggest highlights of our market. As two of the highest-rated new series of the season in Türkiye, both had already caught the attention of international buyers. In Latin America, many clients came to our meetings specifically asking about these two titles.
Our limited series, Between the World and Us, The Choice and Runaway, also generated considerable interest, particularly from MENA, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania and Serbia. Interestingly, even linear broadcasters that had not previously aired limited series showed interest in exploring these titles.
Following the phenomenal success of Farah in Brazil, we have seen a significant resurgence of international interest in the title. Its success has opened new doors with buyers, and we were delighted to close several deals for Farah during MIPCOM, further strengthening its position in the international market.
Beyond our Turkish productions, our newly added titles from TIS Productions also received positive feedback, with interest from buyers in Hungary and Poland. We also introduced Tafi Viejo from Argentina as part of our expanded international catalog.
