Kanal D International’s Turkish drama Sins and Roses has made a strong start in Spain, with its local premiere, El Secreto, topping Sunday night viewing on Antena 3. The series launched on September 6 at 10 p.m. and drew a 12.5% audience share, averaging 1.1 million viewers and reaching more than 2.2 million unique viewers.
The premiere also marked the strongest fiction launch among Spain’s private broadcasters in more than a year. El Secreto led its direct competitors by 6.5 and 2.5 percentage points, respectively, underlining the strong reception for the Turkish drama in one of Europe’s major television markets.
