ATV Distribution has strengthened its presence in the Bulgarian television market with a new multi-series licensing agreement with Nova TV.
The deal brings four Turkish dramas from ATV Distribution’s international catalogue to Bulgarian audiences: The Nightfall, Safir, A Little Sunshine, and Wounded Heart. The titles represent a mix of romance, family drama and emotionally driven storytelling, reflecting the continued international appeal of Turkish series.
Four Turkish Dramas Head to Bulgaria
Among the titles included in the agreement is The Nightfall, one of ATV’s recent drama successes, known for its emotional storyline and strong ensemble cast. Safir, which received an International Emmy Awards nomination, adds a sweeping romance and visually rich production to the line-up.
The Bulgarian deal also includes A Little Sunshine, a family-focused drama built around resilience and unexpected relationships, and Wounded Heart, which explores love, betrayal and redemption.
The agreement underlines the ongoing demand for Turkish drama across European markets and further positions ATV Distribution as an international distributor of premium scripted content. For Nova TV, the deal adds four established Turkish titles to its programming offering for viewers in Bulgaria.
Commenting on the agreement, Müge Akar, Group Head of Sales and Distribution at ATV, said:
