Independent film distribution company Bleecker Street has officially acquired the US distribution rights for the upcoming psychological thriller NDA.
The highly anticipated project features a stellar lead cast including Golden Globe and Olivier Award winner Rachel Zegler (West Side Story), Penn Badgley (You), and Oscar nominee Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone). Currently shooting on location in New York City, the film marks the feature directorial debut of Audrey Ellis Fox, a prominent commercial director known for her high-profile work with brands like Nike and Gatorade.
Fox also penned the NDA‘s highly acclaimed original script, which earned recognition after landing a coveted spot on the 2024 Black List for Hollywood’s best unproduced screenplays.

“NDA was one of the best scripts I’ve read and is exactly the kind of bold, filmmaker-driven cinema we’re passionate about championing,” said Kent Sanderson, CEO of Bleecker Street. “Audrey is a tremendous talent, and we’re honored to collaborate with her and the equally talented Rachel to bring this story to life.”
Centering on a timely and intense narrative about power and perception, the plot follows Dana, played by Zegler, during a deeply distressing and chaotic day of legal mediation regarding an office harassment claim she filed. As the clock ticks down toward an absolute, immutable deadline, Dana is forced to confront the immense psychological toll of the situation, ultimately questioning the true cost of her silence, her sanity, and the survival of the truth itself.
