Marvel star Simu Liu (Shang-Chi, Avengers: Doomsday) has officially joined Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph in the upcoming sci-fi survival thriller Homewrecker.
In addition to Simu Liu, French actress Anaïs Parello, who recently collaborated with director Xavier Gens on Netflix’s shark hit Under Paris, has boarded the cast. Directed by Gens, filming is confirmed to get underway in Paris, France, on July 15, 2026, immediately following the Bastille Day national holiday.
The original screenplay, penned by Elisa Bell and Travis Gordon, follows three star-crossed Americans who are suddenly forced to work together to survive a terrifying, unexplained global event that threatens life as they know it, right in the middle of a heartbreaking domestic revelation.
Producers have likened the tense spirit and atmosphere of the film to Paramount’s sci-fi horror 10 Cloverfield Lane. The project is being fully financed by north.five.six., which is also handling the worldwide distribution rights.
