Warner Bros. Discovery has acquired the HBO Max rights to Tip Toe, the new drama distributed by ITV Studios, expanding the series’ international reach across Europe.
Under the agreement, the five-part drama will premiere on HBO Max in 14 European territories, including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. The deal follows STARZ’s recent acquisition of the series for the United States and English-speaking Canada.
Created and written by multi-BAFTA-winning writer Russell T Davies for Channel 4, Tip Toe stars Alan Cumming and David Morrissey. Set in Manchester, the series follows two longtime neighbors whose relationship spirals into a deadly rivalry amid growing social division and polarization. Blending psychological tension with timely social themes, the drama explores prejudice, radicalization, and the fragility of community. Produced by Quay Street Productions, Tip Toe is internationally distributed by ITV Studios.
